Finkelstein Thompson LLP has recently filed a class action lawsuit against Allergan, Inc. for the misrepresentation of promotions and advertising of its Botox product to health care professionals.

The lawsuit alleges that Allergan falsely misled physicians that a single-use vial of Botox was suitable for multiple procedures and multiple patients. Despite Allergan’s FDA approved product prescribing label indicating that each Botox vial is for single-use, Allergan promotes multi-patient use of single-use Botox vials through its direct relationships with consulting firms that aid physicians in building a cosmetic practice.
