FT INVESTIGATES POTENTIAL CLAIMS BY PURCHASERS OF TOSHIBA AND SONY DISK DRIVES OR COMPUTERS

Finkelstein Thompson LLP is investigating allegations that customers purchasing computers or disk drives directly from Toshiba and/or Sony (i.e. individuals purchasing such computers from either company’s online store or from Sony’s retail outlets) may have paid too much for their purchases.

Recently filed lawsuits indicate that the optical disk drives divisions of Sony and Toshiba, among others, are being investigated by regulatory authorities in connection with potential violations of the federal antitrust laws.  If those companies did in fact violate such laws, purchasers of their products may be entitled to legal remedies.
