Finkelstein Thompson LLP is investigating claims that TD Bank re-sequenced transactions to maximize overdraft fees.

According to allegations Toronto-Dominion Bank, commonly known as TD Bank, is systematically re-sequencing their customer's checking and electronic debit transactions from the highest to lowest dollar amount instead of posting the transactions in the order in which they were actually received. 

The alleged result is that customers are being charged more overdraft fees as a result of the re-sequencing than they otherwise should have been charged.
