Toyota Sienna Vehicles May Be Equipped with Defective Power Sliding Doors E-mail
July 11, 2017

The 2011-2016 Toyota Sienna minivans may be equipped with defective sliding doors that open unexpectedly - sometimes while the vehicles are in motion.  The defect may be related to overloaded motor circuits, which open the fuse for the motor.  Amidst a recall in 2016, Toyota allegedly advised consumers to disable the power sliding door feature but was unable to offer a permanent solution.  The problem was allegedly fixed in the redesigned 2017 models, but no remedy was offered to consumers who had purchased or leased the 2011-2016 models.  If you or anyone you know has purchased or leased one of the effected 2011-2016 Sienna minivans, you may have a claim.
