Samsung Electronics May Be Intercepting Your Private Communications E-mail
May 10, 2017

There have been recent revelations that Samsung Electronics, and several of its subsidiaries, may have been installing recording devices inside of Smart TVs.  According to certain consumers, Samsung and its subsidiaries, deceived and mislead customers by installing software that outside parties could use to spy on Samsung customers’ private conversations, even when the device is “off.”  Purchasers of certain Samsung Smart TVs may have been harmed as a result of Samsung’s failure to adequately disclose the recording devices’ capabilities to allow outside parties to spy on the purchasers, and Samsung’s failure to allow purchasers to make an informed decision before purchasing certain Smart TVs with the “spying system”.  It is alleged that Samsung users were unlikely to anticipate that using their Smart TV would jeopardize their privacy.

If you or anyone else owns a Samsung Smart TV, you may have damages due to Samsung’s “spying system”.  Please contact Finkelstein Thompson LLP at This email address is being protected from spam bots, you need Javascript enabled to view it or call us toll-free at 1-877-337-1050.
