Finkelstein Thompson LLP is investigating complaints that Panasonic's Viera Plasma televisions may contain an undisclosed defect which, when manifest, prevents the television from functioning by, for example, shutting it down randomly, or not allowing it to be turned on again.  Affected televisions also exhibit a blinking power indicator light.  Once the defect has manifest, Panasonic allegedly refuses to disclose or fix the defective part, but instead provides short terms solutions intended only to last through the remainder of the warranty period.
