It is alleged that LinkedIn sends "Invitations to Connect" from the users' account to contacts in the user' email without informing the user. LinkedIn allegedly has the ability to access contacts even if the user has not specifically authorized this access. It is also alleged that LinkedIn App uses, uploads, stores and/or transfers the private address book data maintained on users' wireless mobile devices without first obtaining the device owner's consent.
