Kia and Hyundai Vehicles May Be Prone To Engine Failure E-mail
December 12, 2018

Certain Kia and Hyundai class vehicles may be prone to engine failure.

Consumers allege the engines in certain Kia Motors America Inc. and Hyundai Motor Company vehicles contain metal debris, causing the engine to fail and often catch fire. The metal debris mixes with engine oil and creates oil sludge, which clogs oil ports and prevents vital and necessary lubrication of the engine's moving parts.

The Class Vehicles Include:

-          2011 – 14 Kia Optima

-          2011 – 13 Kia Sportage

-          2011 – 14 Hyundai Santa Fe

2011 – 14 Hyundai Sonata
