Finkelstein Thompson LLP is investigating consumer’s rights relating to the purchase of an iPad 3G prior to the announcement that AT&T would no longer offer an unlimited 3G data plan for the iPad.

Recent allegations indicate that despite marketing an unlimited 3G data plan which could be subscribed to on a monthly basis as needed, as of June 7, 2010 consumers who had an unlimited 3G data plan for their iPad 3G could no longer terminate the plan and have the option of resuming it at a later date.  The allegations also state that some customers could not sign up after June 7, 2010 for the unlimited 3G data plan even if they had purchased their iPad prior to that date or had a different 3G data plan prior to that date.
