Finkelstein Thompson LLP is investigating allegations that certain model iMac displays are failing at an unusually high rate, resulting in a screen display of unwanted multicolored vertical lines.

According to a recently filed complaint, consumers have purchased iMacs which have failed shortly after the expiration of Apple’s warranty.  The failure has resulted in a display of unwanted multicolored vertical lines across the iMac’s screen.  Numerous consumers are said to have made warranty claims regarding the vertical lines, only to have their claim denied as occurring out of warranty.
