Google Project Fi May Be Overcharging For Data Used E-mail
February 14, 2018

Google's Project Fi may be charging overcharging subscribers for used data services.

We are investigating allegations that Google’s Project Fi, a mobile phone and data service, charges its subscribers for data service received through open or home Wi-Fi, resulting in overcharges. According to Project Fi, customers “are not charged for the data [they] use when connected to open or home Wi-Fi.” However, subscribers report that Project Fi billed them for data use provided by other service providers and from free Wi-Fi.

If you or someone you know subscribes to Google’s Project Fi, please contact Finkelstein Thompson LLP to discuss your legal rights. You can reach us at This email address is being protected from spam bots, you need Javascript enabled to view it or give us a call toll-free at 1-844-280-5009.
