Finkelstein Thompson is investigating a security and privacy breach at Genworth Financial ("Genworth").  Genworth announced on March 21, 2008 that the independent insurance agency which collected insurance applications for Genworth was burglarized.   Genworth was informed on February 20, 2008 that the theft included computer equipment with insurance application information of Genworth customers, including name, address, date of birth, and Social Security Number.   Genworth Financial includes Genworth Life and Annuity Insurance Company ("GLAIC") and Genworth Life Insurance Company ("GLIC").
