GEICO and Other Automobile Insurance Carriers May Not Cover Electronic Vehicle Scans E-mail
January 11, 2018

GEICO and other Auto Insurance carriers may be denying clients coverage of required or recommended electronic scans.

GEICO and other automobile insurance carriers may have been denying insurance coverage for collision repair scans that are required or recommended by the manufacturer. Manufacturers such as General Motors, Honda, Infiniti, Mazda, Mercedes, Nissan, Subaru, and Toyota often require or recommend electronic scanning before and after collision vehicle repairs. The pre- and post- collision repair scans are a computerized check that help identify necessary repairs before work begins and after completion.

If you or anyone you know is insured by GEICO or other automobile insurance carrier and was denied insurance coverage for pre- and/or post- collision repair scans, please contact Finkelstein Thompson LLP to discuss your legal rights.
