Ford Diesel Trucks May Be Prone To Engine Failure E-mail
December 04, 2018

Ford may be selling vehicles with defective engines.

Ford Motor Company allegedly sold millions of diesel trucks equipped with Bosch CP4 high pressure fuel injection pumps. Bosch’s CP4 pump may not be compatible with American fuel standards, because the CP4 pump cannot withstand the amount of lubricant and water content in U.S. diesel fuel. Consumers allege that the pump deposits metal shavings and debris throughout the fuel injection system and engine, ultimately resulting in engine failure.

If you or anyone you know purchased or leased a 2011-2018 Ford diesel truck equipped with a Bosch CP4 fuel injection pump, please contacts Finkelstein Thompson LLP.
