Finkelstein Thompson LLP Announces Investigation of Defective BMW Wheels Finkelstein Thompson is investigating allegations that BMW-manufactured alloy wheels are improperly designed and manufactured. The allegations claim that the alloy used to make the wheels is susceptible to cracking and bending under normal driving conditions. It has also been claimed that the problem is exacerbated by BMW's use of run-flat or low profile tires, which come standard on many models. Repair or replacement costs borne as a result of these cracked or bent rims may not be covered by BMW's warranty, and replacing or repairing a defective wheel typically costs several hundred dollars. If you are interested in discussing your rights as a purchaser of any BMW series vehicle manufactured from 2005 to the present, excluding the 6-series, or have information relating to this investigation, please contact Finkelstein Thompson's Washington, DC offices at (877) 337-1050 or by email at This email address is being protected from spam bots, you need Javascript enabled to view it . |
