Finkelstein Thompson LLP is investigating reports that consumers are being charged for unwanted products by inadvertently clicking on pop-up advertisements after completing a purchase from popular online retailers.

Many consumers complain that, without re-entering their billing information, a single click on the pop-up advertisements results in the purchase of an unwanted product.  Consumers complain that they are unaware of any additional purchase until they review their credit/debit card bill and notice charges from an unfamiliar company.  Typically, these charges are monthly recurring subscription fees costing between $4 and $20 per month.
