Finkelstein Thompson LLP is investigating consumer complaints about the marketing and billing practices of Savvier LLP (the “Company”) which distributes and sells Crunchless Abs DVDs and VHS tapes (collectively “videos”).

Crunchless Abs are a series of workout videos developed by Linda LaRue. According to complaints, consumers allege that upon the purchase of a single video, they are unwittingly enrolled into a continuity program resulting in ongoing shipments of videos. Consumers allege that they received charges on their credit cards or debits from their checking accounts for unordered videos on a recurring basis without authorization. Consumers also claim that the Company may have failed to adequately disclose that the purchase of a single video results in enrollment of a continuity program and that it is near impossible to cancel and get a refund.
