Recently, the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) has announced an investigation in the Chevy Cobalt's power steering failures.  Finkelstein Thompson LLP is investigating potential legal claims possessed by owners of those cars, including both those injured in accidents and those concerned about the reduced value of their cars.

The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration reports that there are 1,132 complaints about the Cobalt's electric power steering, including reports of eleven accidents and one injury.  The preliminary review covers about 905,000 Cobalts in the model years from 2005 to 2009.
