CompuCredit Advertising Investigation
September 23, 2008

Finkelstein Thompson LLP is currently investigating potential misrepresentations by CompuCredit, Inc. in the advertising of its credit cards. If you have obtained a credit card through CompuCredit, you may be entitled to a refund of some or all of the fees charged by the Company.

CompuCredit markets the following credit cards through direct mail and the Internet: (1) Aspire, (2) Aspire A Mas; (3) FreedomCard, (4) Tribute; (5) Imagine; (6) Majestic; (7) Aspen; (8) Emerge; and (9) Fingerhut Credit Advantage.

It is believed that CompuCredit may have misrepresented the credit limits on its credit cards, failed to disclose the up-front fees charged for some of its credit cards, and failed to disclose how certain transactions could adversely affect the available credit on the credit cards.

If you have obtained a credit card through CompuCredit, we welcome inquiries concerning your rights and interests in this matter. Please contact our Washington, D.C. office at 202-337-8000 or by email at This email address is being protected from spam bots, you need Javascript enabled to view it .
