This is a class action asserting securities fraud claims against Motorola, Inc. and other defendants in connection with the public sale and ongoing trading of Iridium World Communications, Ltd., Iridium LLC and Iridium Operating, LLC securities during the period between September 8, 1998 and May 13, 1999.

The complaint alleges that defendants misrepresented and omitted material facts concerning the Iridium system's functionality, readiness for commercial launch, and ability to attract subscribers and generate revenues in sufficient quantities to satisfy financial covenants Iridium had entered into with its lenders in connection with Iridium's $800 million secured credit facility. This case is currently being litigated in the United States District Court for the District of Columbia. The Class has been certified, defendants' motions to dismiss have been denied, and certain defendants' motion for summary judgment was also denied.  Discovery is ongoing.

Finkelstein Thompson LLP has been appointed as Liaison Counsel and as a member of the Executive Committee of lead counsel for plaintiffs and the putative class.
